Tips on how to use La Thea Bulgarian Rose Water

La Thea Rose Water is a versatile cosmetic product due to its rich content of vitamins, antioxidants and other bioactive nutrients. It has soothing, rejuvenating, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic action. If used on a regular basis La Thea Rose Water visibly improves skin texture, brightens and evens skin tone and gives your face a healthy glow.

The Bulgarian Rose Water is suitable for both skin and hair. It can be used for all skin types. It is highly recommended for sensitive skin as it calms down irritation and reduces sensitivity. It will hydrate dry skin and when applied to mixed or oily skin, it helps with sebum control and tightens the pores. Acne-prone skin will also benefit from La Thea Rose Water as it helps reduce inflammation and keeps at bay the bacteria that causes acne. For all skin types, spray directly onto the skin or apply with a cotton pad every morning and evening on a clean face. For best results, we recommend storing your rose water in the refrigerator.

La Thea Rose Water can be used as a toner after your face wash to restore and balance the skin’s natural pH. It can be mixed with a few drops of your favorite cream or serum to enrich them with even more skin benefits. Alternatively, you can use it as a mist spray during the day when you need to cool and refresh your face.

Use La Thea Rose Water to alleviate eye irritation, tiredness and puffiness.

Wet two cotton pads and apply to the eye area for 15 minutes. This will soothe and refresh them. Many models use La Thea Rose Water just before a photo session to relax their eyes or after a long day of shooting. You can do the same to the whole face like a sheet mask. Just use larger cotton pads and leave them for 20 minutes on the forehead and cheeks for hydrated and glowing skin. This can be very helpful after sun exposure and especially after sunburn as La Thea Rose Water takes away the heat and redness but also helps soothe the skin. It is due to the antioxidants and bioflavonoids that combat the oxidative damage caused by the UV rays.

For even better results, mix aloe vera gel with La Thea Rose Water and refrigerate for a few hours before applying it to sunburnt skin. An ancient tried and tested Bulgarian recipe calls for a mix of Rose Water and yoghurt so you can try that as well.

Premature wrinkles, broken capillaries and slight scars can be diminished with regular Rose Water use.

Never tried a Rose Water face pack? Here are a few suggestions for you:

  • Face pack for oily and acne-prone skin – mix a teaspoon of Moroccan clay with enough Rose Water to get a consistency of yoghurt. Apply on clean skin and leave for 10-15 minutes until it is almost dry. Rinse well and follow with your favorite moisturizer.

  • Face pack for sensitive skin – mix a teaspoon of rice flour with La Thea Rose Water to get a creamy texture. Apply it on clean skin and leave for 10 minutes. Rinse thoroughly and then apply your usual moisturizer.

  • Exfoliating scrub for normal and mixed skin – mix a teaspoon of corn flour with enough La Thea Rose Water to get a paste and gently rub it to clean skin. Rinse well and apply moisturizer.

You can use La Thea rose water as a post-wash hair tonic. Just spray it on the roots of your hair while it’s still damp and give your scalp a gentle massage. This will stimulate hair growth by improving blood circulation in the area. You can also spray the lengths for shiny healthy hair.

If your mascara is dry and clumpy, La Thea Rose Water will give it a second life! Just add a few drops of Rose Water to the mascara tube, shake it well and you can use it for another two weeks.

As you see, La Thea Bulgarian Rose Water is a cosmetic product with multiple uses.

Try it out and share with us what works best for you. And remember – taking care of your skin is taking care of yourself!
